How refunds, returns and cancellation rights are handled when a product is purchased on Yale’s separate website.
1. An editorial website, not a shop
Active Documents LTD. publishes Folio & Found as an independent advertising feature. Visitors can read the narrative and follow a link to the official Yale Small Fire Chest page, but there is no on-site checkout, order acceptance, payment collection, stock allocation or parcel dispatch.
No product sales contract is formed between the visitor and Active Documents LTD. through this website. As the publisher does not collect purchase payments, it cannot issue a refund for a Yale purchase or replace goods supplied by another merchant.
2. Orders placed with Yale
If you proceed to the official Yale website and order YFC/154/KB1 or another Yale product, your contract is with the seller identified during that checkout. The seller provides the applicable price, taxes, delivery details, confirmation documents, warranty information, cancellation conditions and returns process.

3. Statutory consumer rights
Consumers buying qualifying goods at a distance may have a legal right to cancel during an applicable cooling-off period, subject to statutory conditions and exceptions. Separate rights may apply where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal standards.
